Speaking at Columbia Developers Enterprise Guild

I will be speaking about building Templatable Silverlight Controls at the Columbia Developers Enterprise Guild on Wednesday, July 9th, 2008.

Presentation Details
Creating reusable controls is an important aspect of productive software development. When you can supplement this reusability with customizability, you have the power to rapidly deliver seamless and compelling user experiences in your products. Silverlight offers both of these through the use of custom templatable controls. In this presentation, we will take a short journey through the process of building a custom control using Silverlight.

See you there!

Gravatar Page great job on the Templatable Silverlight Controls!!!

I enjoyed your presentation. I'd like to know your favorite web sites for Silverlight and Silverlight control development.

I'd like to see you do another presentation in Columbia on the same subject while providing more detail and showing how to package controls for production as well as how to build complete silverlight applications not just one page with one control.

This was the best presentation I have seen on Silverlight and Silverlight Control development!!!

Thanks for your time! Jerry 7/10/2008 2:27 PM | Jerry Merchand

Gravatar Great presentation. I was wondering if we could get a copy of the templated control you presented as a reference. 7/11/2008 11:19 AM | Craig
